Why GCHM Was Created
Grief Can’t Hold Me was created from a place of deep love, loss, and the desire to make sure no one has to walk through grief alone.
After experiencing the unimaginable loss of my daughter, Day’Zshia, I found myself searching for comfort in a space where words often fall short. In that journey, I realized how many others are navigating that same pain—often silently, often without support.
GCHM was born to be a safe and compassionate space for those moments.
What started as a personal journey of healing has grown into a mission to support others through theirs—offering comfort, connection, and tangible reminders that love still surrounds them, even in the midst of grief.
Through initiatives like The Teddy Bear Project, we provide more than just a gift—we provide a symbol of care, remembrance, and support.
GCHM exists to honor legacy, to hold space for healing, and to remind every grieving heart:
you are not alone.

GCHM MISSION
Grief Can’t Hold Me (GCHM) exists to create a safe and inclusive space for mothers and families who have experienced the loss of a child. Through community, forgiveness, and healing-centered resources, we help individuals begin the journey toward acceptance and transition into a new reality—one rooted in love, legacy, and restoration.
GCHM VISION STATEMENT
A world where grief is held with tenderness, truth, and tools for restoration—where no parent grieves alone, and every story becomes a seed for healing.
