Grief Can’t Hold Me (GCHM) is more than an organization—it is a movement rooted in love, healing, and the power of community.

We exist to support individuals and families navigating grief, especially those who have experienced the loss of a child, by providing comfort, connection, and compassionate support during life’s most difficult moments.

Our Story

Grief Can’t Hold Me was created from a place of deep love and unimaginable loss.

After the passing of my daughter, Day’Zshia, my life changed in ways that words could never fully capture. Grief became a journey I didn’t choose—but one I had to learn to navigate.

In that journey, I realized something powerful:
So many people are grieving… and so many are doing it alone.

There were moments where comfort felt out of reach, where the world continued on while my heart stood still. And in those moments, I knew there had to be something more—something that could offer even the smallest sense of support, warmth, and connection.

GCHM was born from that realization.

What started as a personal path toward healing has grown into a mission to walk alongside others in theirs—to remind them that even in grief, they are seen, supported, and never alone.

Our WORK

Grief Can’t Hold Me provides compassionate, holistic support to individuals and families navigating the complexities of grief and loss. We understand that grief is not one-size-fits-all—it is deeply personal, ever-evolving, and often experienced in isolation.

Our work is rooted in meeting people exactly where they are, offering both tangible comfort and emotional support throughout their healing journey.

Through a combination of thoughtfully designed programs, peer connection, and guided support, we create spaces where grief can be acknowledged, processed, and carried with care. Whether through the gift of a comfort item, one-on-one support, or community-based healing environments, our goal is to ensure that no one has to navigate loss alone.

We are committed to honoring each individual’s experience while providing resources that foster connection, resilience, and hope—transforming pain into purpose and isolation into community.
